Knight of Bronzeville by Naleighna Kai and Stephanie M. Freeman is book two of the nine book Knights of the Castle series. This series is a spinoff of the Kings of the Castle series. The books in both series are standalones penned by various authors and can be read in any order.
Amanda “Mandy” McCoy travels to Jamaica for a wellness seminar and meets Chaz Maharaj, the handsome soon to be ex-husband of Susan Keller, the seminar host. Mandy and Chaz are instantly attracted to each other and begin a relationship that produces unexpected complications. Susan’s vengeful actions and the secrets in Mandy’s past lead to even more chaos until the complicated situation requires the intervention of the Kings of the Castle.
Kai and Freeman continue the Knights of the Castle series with an excellent novel that flows smoothly and shows no signs that there is more than one author. We’re introduced to vivid, well-rounded characters. The dialogue is vibrant, and the intense plot holds the reader’s attention throughout. This is a 5 out of 5 star read and I recommend it to all readers of romantic suspense and multicultural romance.
